If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is…right?! Well, not exactly! I find myself on an airplane…ALL THE TIME! And not for business, it’s all personal, so I am left to pay my own way. If you travel a lot for business, and the company is paying, I would point you away from these discounted flights…BUT, if you are like me, and love to travel, or have to travel a lot…these base fare airlines may just be the perfect thing for you!Read More

Cheap and Maldives Holiday doesn’t exactly go together. Or so I thought.
When I first heard of Maldives, I thought “great honeymoon destination, way out of our budget!” The turquoise waters that are crystal clear and full of sea life looks like something out of a movie. Overwater bungalows that are so romantic but would definitely put a dent in your wallet...maybe Maldives, “one day”.
High in the rugged heartlands of British Columbia, you’ll find Canada’s ultimate winter wonderland - Whistler.
Famous the world over for its dramatic landscapes and enticing slopes, Whistler attracts thousands of skiers and snowboarders from across the globe each year.Read More
“Welcome to New York!....it’s been waiting for you!” The famous T-Swift song plays on our phones as we come up on NYC. I absolutely love New York! Every time I’m there, it’s always an exciting feeling being in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of the city that never sleeps.Read More
A trip to our nations capital, Washington DC, is one that should be on every Americans list. But a day trip to Arlington, Virginia should be included on that trip as well. Arlington is a quick 15 minutes outside the city, and definitely worth the trip. The most famous spots are, Arlington National Cemetery and The Pentagon.Read More
On our US History tour, we headed to Gettysburg for the day on our way to Philadelphia. We had been before and took a driving tour in our car with a guide who took us around the battlefields.Read More
Who dislikes traveling? Nobody! We all like exploring new places, literally everyone loves to travel.
Even those anxious about flights or bus and train trips love to arrive to the new place and see a new culture with enthusiasm!
I was always like that. I was anxious before my trips, rethinking if everything goes well and a lot more. But I definitely loved packing and dancing along as I fantasized about unpacking when I get to the new place.Read More
Looking for Things to do in Helsinki? Well, you've come to the right place!
Oh Helsinki! B and I did an around the world trip from March till May. We started in Lapland Finland and LOVED every day spent there. Since we only had a few months to go around the world, we were on a tight schedule. We flew out of Helsinki but didn’t have time to hang out in the city. So I was way excited when we were invited back to enjoy a week in Helsinki during the midsummer celebration.
There are 2 types of islands you can visit when in Maldives. One is a Resort Island, and is probably the most known of the two... but, there's another island you can visit that will make your stay much cheaper. Since about 10 years ago, the Maldivian government has allowed local islands to have guest houses so tourists can come to stay there, so that now gives us a budget friendly option for staying in Maldives.Read More
ROBINSON Club Noonu is what you will find, if you look up “paradise” in the dictionary...with a beautiful picture of their all inclusive resort in Maldives. When you arrive on the island, they say “welcome to paradise” and they are not lying!Read More
Our bucket list Lapland trip wasn't quite complete without a stop in Inari. We enjoyed the ice castle in Kemi, the spectacular Auroras at Northern Lights Village, and relaxed at the beautiful Aurora Village, but we still had to experience some of the Finland Culture in Inari.
The last leg of our trip was at Hotel Inari. We were excited to get there, because it would be the furthest North we were traveling to, so we were looking forward to an awesome Aurora show. And it did not disappoint.
If you’re wanting a relaxing, nature filled vacation in Lapland Finland, away from all the hustle and bustle of tourism, you have to check out Aurora Village. It is an awesome place in Ivalo, Finland, that is perfect for a Northern Lights adventure. Aurora Village has beautiful glass igloo cabins that make it a picture perfect place for your Aurora watching experience. It feels like your own serene getaway, and is very quiet around the grounds, but still offers everything you would want during your beautiful Lapland adventure.Read More
If you were to imagine your perfect trip to Lapland in the winter, you would probably be imagining Northern Lights Village. I found my dream hotel in Saariselka, Finland, and never wanted to leave. Luckily for us, Northern Lights Village lived up to it’s name, and we saw a beautiful show of the Auroras.Read More
We finally had some time off to take an awesome trip together, so B and I were talking about different trips we could take, and where we wanted to go. He threw out Finland, and I ran with it. We had seen the Northern Lights in Iceland about a year and a half before, but if you remember, those were the boring lights. We still wanted to see the magical green lights dancing in the sky. We had a small taste on our flight over to Iceland, but it just made me want to see them even more. So, we started planning our trip to Finland, and quickly decided we would spend our time in beautiful Lapland.Read More
"Pictures or it never happened!"
We have been long time fans of GoPro...even from the early days. Now, GoPro is even cooler than ever, and with the new APP QuikStories, we're enjoying our memories with just a touch of a button.
My GoPro has been with me through so much. Shark Cage Diving, Bungee Jumping, Snowboarding, Fishing...it's been all across the states, in New Zealand, Australia, Haiti, and Iceland. I've had it for years, and it has never failed me. It is so awesome to have all these pictures and videos of my favorite memories, when usually I wouldn't have much proof of it before. After all the love my GoPro has given me, it was time to upgrade to another one...but only because of the awesome new features they keep coming out with.Read More
Birthdays have always been a huge thing for me, and my family. We actually love celebrating birthday months...because just celebrating one day, is obviously not enough. Personally, I have always been really big on pillar birthdays as well. I was SOOOO excited to turn 16! Sweet 16 meant I got my drivers license, was a Jr in high school, and my whole life ahead of me. 18 of course, you become an adult. 21, you're no longer in your teens, and there are barely any restrictions in life (besides renting a car, for the most part), and then there is 30.Read More
If you've been following the blog, you probably already know how much I love escape rooms. We've added it to our Top Rainy Day Date Ideas, and our Fall Bucket List for Couples. If you've never done an Escape Room before, you should definitely check it out. We do them all over...while we are on vacation, out visiting friends, or just want a fun date night around town. Throughout our Escape Room experiences, we have found some rooms are very well put together, and some...well, not so much. We have been to our fair share of good ones, and plenty of rooms that are sad excuses for an "Escape Room". So, when we find awesome ones, we definitely want to share, so you can enjoy them as well.Read More
I had always thought of hot air balloons as something out of a movie. There’s something adventurous, magical, romantic about hot air balloons. On very rare occasions, while I was growing up, we would see hot air balloons flying above our city, early on some Sunday mornings on our way to church. They were always magical and so fun to watch. The beautiful colors and patterns, and the way they just appear on some random mornings, and not seen again for a while later, are what made them so interesting. It was something I had put on my bucket list…something I wanted to do one time in my life. However, it had always seemed like a far fetched dream. One of those “maybe one day” dreams.Read More
When you think of Gatorland, you may this it’s strictly a zoo full of…gators of course! And you get to walk around looking at the different kinds, see the exhibits, maybe catch a gator show, and you’re out.I actually thought something along those lines as well…that is until I learned that Gatorland offers so much more!Read More
