We are so excited to tell you about a company that not only has quality and organic food but, it also has an amazing purpose!
Oh, and there’s a giveaway at the bottom of this post!
We were thrilled to be able to partner together with Newman’s Own, and even more so after we heard what the company is all about. You probably know Newman’s Own salad dressings…but they carry TONS of food, beverage, and pet food products (that’s right, pet food too!)
*We have partnered together with Newman’s Own to bring you this post. However, as always, all opinions expressed are our own.*
Did you know Newman’s Own has a line of their own wine?! Popcorn, Candy, Pizza, Sauces, Cookie, Mayonnaise, Chocolate, Oil, Vinegar, Dog Food, Cat Food…Newman’s Own has it all. And so many of their products are Organic! Awesome!
And our favorites, and great for Valentine’s Day?! Their Chocolates, Candies, and Cookies!
We were able to test out a great variety of these foods, and absolutely LOVED them.
Their Peanut Butter Cups, Licorice Twists, and Chocolate Bars were a family favorite. And their line of cookies were right up there too.
With all these delicious snacks and foods, you would think that would be enough for us to love a company, right? BUT, Newman’s Own has stolen our hearts with their company purpose… “100% Profits to Charity”. WHAT?! That can’t be right?!
It is! And here’s the quick story. This company was founded by (the late) Paul Newman, you know, they guy from “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid”, “The Sting”, “Cool Hand Luke”, and most recently, “Cars”…yeah, that Paul Newman, and writer A. E. Hotchner.
Together, they started this company, pretty much by accident. For Christmas, they got creative and made salad dressings for their neighbors…and a couple months later, their neighbors were asking for the next bottle! So they created their company, starting with Salad Dressings, and said 100% profits will go to charities. According to their website, Newman’s Own has donated “over $485,000,000 to thousands of deserving organizations around the world.”
HOW AWESOME IS THAT?!
Paul Newman was quoted saying, “My profits will be divided between a number of tax-deductible charities and causes, some church-related, others for conservation and ecology and things like that.” (from Wikipedia).
What a great way to support an amazing company that is doing amazing things.
