1. VIDEOGRAPHER- GET ONE!!!

Still photos provide an image of a moment in time, but wedding videos capture both movement and sound. With a wedding video, you’ll be able to hear your spouse gasp during your first look, your dad’s toast and your mom’s laughter. You’ll be able to watch your first kiss as newlyweds, your first dance, and your grandmother’s amazing dance moves. For as beautiful and artistic as still photos can be, they cannot capture motion or sound—which makes a wedding video a must-have.

2. Schedules are Helpful.

My photographer made me a very detailed schedule for the day of the wedding – broken-down in 15-30 minute increment, having this allowed me to let the day unfold and just enjoy it.

3. If you want your dogs apart of your day DO IT!

It wouldn’t have been the same without seeing my babies. They are my Husband and I’s kids.

4. Have a moment with each of your parents!

5. DO a first look with your bridesmaids!

It was so fun seeing all of their faces at one time! After months of planning and hours of getting ready the morning of your wedding, you’ll be so psyched to finally put your wedding dress on and show your bridal party how incredible you look. Although there’s nothing quite like your first look with your partner, the first time your best friends, siblings and parents see you all dressed up is an irreplaceable moment.

6. Hold off seeing your bride/groom until you walk down the aisle

You won’t regret it!

7. Don’t sweat the small stuff!

All the hard work is done, so enjoy every minute.Breath, enjoy the planning process and ultimately, enjoy your day being with all your loved ones. If something goes wrong, you’re surrounded by people who are willing to help and support you. And remember to soak in the moments! Really! Look around in the attendance to think how much everyone means to you. Take in how much you love your other half and how amazing you feel at that very moment. Both you and your husband make sure you sit back and take in and admire everything that you have both created.

IT GOES SO FAST! Everyone says it but you won’t believe it until the day arrives. Enjoy and soak in the love of your family and friends, and let the small things go

8. EAT THE CAKE!

9. Don’t Forget to Dance and Have Fun!!

This is a celebration!
