So, you want to know what a woman wants? Well, the truth is, all women are different.

Most women look for similar qualities in a man.

If you can demonstrate these qualities, you will have her chasing you! So how do you impress a girl?

How To Impress A Girl

Be Yourself

So many guys go about trying to impress a girl in all the wrong ways. Showing off, acting “cool”, playing hard to get.

These things might get her attention, but it probably won’t be in the way you want.

The most attractive quality in a man is confidence. So just be yourself! Be confident in who you are and the ladies will take notice.

Compliment Her

It’s hard to make generalized statements for all women, but we feel pretty confident in this one.

All women want to feel beautiful. We want to feel special. We want to feel appreciated.

And one way to make us feel that way is by complimenting us.

Tell her she’s beautiful.

Compliment her talents.

Let her know that you love her sense of humor.

You can’t over compliment a woman. We love it.

Make Her Smile

Women love a man that can make them laugh. So if you have a good sense of humor, you’re already 10 steps ahead of the game.

Of course, we aren’t all born natural comedians.

Luckily, there’s lots of other ways that you can make a girl smile too.

Send her memes.

Text her funny photos.

Keep your conversations light hearted.

And if all else fails, just enjoy life. If she sees that you don’t take yourself too seriously, that’ll be enough to impress.

How To Impress A Girl Without Talking

Be a Gentleman

For some reason, the act of being a gentleman seems to have been lost in today’s society.

Can we please bring that back?

Women love chivalry and it never gets outdated. Open the door for her, pull out her chair, show up on time and wait for her without complaint.

Just be polite, kind, and courteous, and a good girl will take notice.

Dress to Impress

The way you present yourself matters. You wouldn’t walk into a job interview wearing baggy pants and a t-shirt that hangs to your knees (at least we hope you wouldn’t).

So don’t do it on a date either. Dress to impress her.

A nicely dressed man with a good smelling cologne is irresistible to a woman.

Being well-groomed and maintained doesn’t hurt either.

Put Down Your Phone

For goodness sake – we cannot stress this enough!

When you’re talking to a girl or on a date, PUT. DOWN. YOUR. PHONE.

There is nothing more annoying (and rude) than someone picking up their phone to look at it in the middle of a conversation.

Not to mention, cell phones on a date are a great way to destroy your chances before you even begin.

So put them down. Even better, if you can, leave them at home (or in the car).

A no cell phone rule will lead to better conversation, better connection, and a better chance of a second date.

Look Her in the Eye

Did you know that good eye contact can actually make you more memorable?

Not only that, but it shows her that you’re actually listening to what she’s saying which, unfortunately, is often lost these days.

So when you’re speaking to a girl, look her in the eyes. It’s a sign of confidence and tells her that you’re interested.

Listen to Her

Going back to what we were just saying, it’s not enough to just look her in the eye and be reciting the ABC’s in your head.

Actually listen to what she’s saying.

Communication is key in any relationship – and if you aren’t listening to her, she’ll notice. So listen.

If you really care about what she has to say, this will come naturally. And trust us – it will set you apart from other men.

Find Out What She Likes

Again, this goes back to listening. Listen to the things that she tells you.

Her likes.

Her dislikes.

And then use that information to impress her.

Did she tell you she likes red roses? Send some to her home.

Does she love horses? Take her on a horseback riding date.

Incorporate the things she likes into the things you say and do – and she’ll know that you’ve been listening.

Charm Her

Old world charm isn’t completely lost.

Instead of sending her a text, write her a love note.

Shower her with gifts and surprises.

Show her off to your friends.

In other words, don’t just tell her that you’re interested with your words, show her with your actions.

Put forward the extra thought and effort to let her know that you are thinking about her.

Make her feel special and she’ll do the same for you.

Respect Her

Whether it’s between friends, couples, or family members, respect is the basis for any successful relationship.

So show her respect in everything that you do.

Treat her as an equal.

Ask her thoughts and opinions.

Give her your trust.

Respect her as you wish to be respected yourself.

Make Her a Priority

We know that life is busy. But if you really want to impress a girl, you need to make her a priority.

Text her back promptly.

Answer her phone calls (or call her back as soon as you can).

Make time for date night.

If you want to be a priority in her life, put her as a priority in yours.

And again, most importantly, just – be – yourself.

No girl wants to start dating someone just to find out a month later that they were nothing like the person they originally met.

Let someone fall in love with you for who you are.

If it doesn’t impress her, she’s not the right girl.

So don’t try too hard – the right girl will be impressed by you just the way you are.
